Epis 2019 Cab/MerlotA quality wine this 2019 Cab Merlot is, and I reckon, one of the best Cabernet I have made. As I have said before, 2019 was a fantastic year for all our wines. This Cabernet is outstanding with dense profound dark beautiful colour good acid and balance with ripe cassius fruit and a background of crushed Ivy leaf. This long finish is elegant and balanced and will benefit from cellaring. One of our best Cabernet ever!!

Nice minerals flavours with minimum oak used in fermentation

The cool season origins give the brightness and intensity and the wine opens and reveals increased texture and fruit complexity over a few days

spice and a touch of savouriness from ageing on yeast lees and slowly opens with time
