This is New Old Stock. The razor was made in the Showa period, approximately in the 1940s. We have attached a rattan handle wrapping with urushi lacquer.

The laser engraving shows a part of one of ukiyo-e Artists Kuniyoshis master pieces: Kangayu-saemon

Unfortunately the Maker Mark is just something like a horse and cant be traced back

The blade comes wrapped in red linnen in a handmade Hinoki box

giving it a pristine finish

This huge Kamisori would not fit in our normal boxes
